About the Role
BMC is engaging experienced logistics administrators to support European freight operations with shipment tracking and status updates. This is a structured, part-time contract role, supporting international logistics teams remotely. The work is system-based and follows clearly defined procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Track shipments using TMS systems
Update shipment milestones accurately
Send standardised status updates via email
Escalate exceptions according to SOPs
Maintain accurate system records
Requirements
2–5 years’ experience in logistics or freight administration
Familiarity with TMS or ERP systems (e.g. CargoWise, ShipLogic or similar)
Strong written English communication
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working remotely and following SOPs
Contract Details
Independent contractor engagement
Part-time (10–20 hours per week)
Fixed-term with possible extension based on performance
Client-issued equipment may be required
This role does not involve freight planning, pricing, or negotiations.
